It started as a long-term dream and has continued to grow into something I care deeply about every single day. My vision has always been to create a salon brand that welcomes everyone — from local Brighton clients to those travelling across Melbourne — while still holding onto the personal values and strong culture that Harpo Hair was built on from the beginning.

One of my biggest passions is creating opportunities for young women entering the hair industry. Watching apprentices develop confidence, technical skills, and eventually become incredible stylists is one of the most rewarding parts of owning a Brighton hair salon.

Building a respected Brighton hair salon has always been about creating opportunities for both our clients and our team.

Amanda is a perfect example of that journey. She started as one of Harpo Hair’s apprentices and is now manager and part owner of the business. Seeing team members grow into leadership positions is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Creating a supportive environment where young women feel inspired, motivated, confident, and genuinely excited to come to work every day has always been incredibly important to me. I want Harpo Hair to be a place where people can build long and successful careers while feeling supported every step of the way.
